Comprehensive testing is required to ensure the cross-project Kanban functionality works correctly across all scenarios and edge cases. Testing scope: 1. Unit tests for controller modifications (all_projects parameter) 2. Integration tests for the complete Kanban board with multiple projects 3. Frontend JavaScript tests for the project selector dropdown 4. Permission tests to ensure users only see tasks from authorized projects 5. Performance tests with large numbers of projects/tasks 6. Edge case testing (empty projects, deleted projects, etc.) Test files to create/modify: - /test/controllers/dashboard_controller_test.rb - /test/integration/kanban_test.rb - /test/system/kanban_system_test.rb - /test/javascript/kanban_test.js (if using JavaScript tests) This is critical to prevent regressions and ensure the feature works reliably.
